Membership at New Gen
Membership at New Gen is more than simply getting your name into our address book or being able to download talks from the website! We believe that God is taking us somewhere and that we will only get there if everyone plays their part. Membership is your way of telling us that you're excited about doing just that.
Of course for you to be able make an informed decision about joining New Gen there’s some important things you need to know. Big questions like “what is our vision”? “what values do we hold dear”? and “what do we actually believe about God, church and our community”?
To help you explore these questions before you make the decision to join you can book in to see a member of the team here at New Gen. If you do we will make sure we meet with you twice before you join – The first time to help you find out as much as you can about who we are, what we believe and what membership means to us. And then after you’ve had a bit of time to soak it all in we will meet again to answer any of your questions and find out a bit more about your own journey. It’s nothing complicated but we have found it to be a helpful process
Before you move into a house it’s always worth having a good look around and we encourage everyone who is thinking of calling New Gen home to do the same. Especially because there is lots going on in the life of the church, (Sundays is just the tip of the iceberg) . It is especially worth mentioning Soul Groups. We have Soul Groups every other week and they meet in homes across the borough and if you are thinking seriously about joining then plugging in to a soul group is really important, (we encourage all our members to be in one).
