Paul Weston 

Paul is a Sidcup lad having lived there for over 30 years (scary). He is a regular programme leader at Spring Harvest and works with other leadership teams. He speaks at events both in the UK and Europe. Paul was the chair of Churches Together in Sidcup 2003-2005. And still plays a key role in getting local Church leaders together. His main areas of responsibility in Church life are to bring leadership to the oversight team, to oversee Sunday gatherings, to develop new leaders and to be an ambassador with other agencies. Paul is married to Paula and they have 2 wonderful kids, Charlie and Zack. Paul is commited to seeing the church fulfill its purpose by making an impact and wholeheartedly believes that New Generation has an important part to play in reaching people in the area. Lark in the park was a dream Paul had a few years ago for the Church to reach the community in a big way. Thirteen years on.....

 

Liz Johnston - 2009

Liz Johnston 

Liz has lived in Sidcup for some years, having moved to London to do her nurse training. She got lured into staying here after meeting her future husband, James. She is a part time Accident & Emergency nurse and has seen some mad things. Liz is also a full time mother, in September 2004, Liz gave birth to a wonderful daughter, Sophia and then in 2006 to a wonderful son Hayden and is currently enjoying the life of being a mother. Liz enjoys travelling, afternoon tea and cakes, and trying new food!  She is responsible for the small group life in our Church called Soul groups.

Jon Rouse 

Jon has lived in Sidcup all his life. He is an avid Manchester United supporter, loves a good curry or kebab, enjoys hanging out with his mates, playing a bit of guitar, and attempting to get fit again at the gym. Jon is married to his sweetheart Mary and together they are keen on a future with a couple of kids. He speaks at local and european youth events. His passion is to see young people take their place in church now, and not wait until they are older.

Mary Rouse

Mary is wife to Jon Rouse and together they live in Sidcup. She has been part of the team for over two years and has the responsibility of linking to our trustee team which involves overseeing some our legal, financial, HR and management responsibilities as a church and a charity. She also gets involved in some of the strategic issues that we regularly work through.

Mary works for a local housing association where she is responsible for setting up, running and supporting community projects and groups. She works predominately with young people, people not in education or employment and families or individuals with complex social and economic needs. She is passionate about seeing regeneration and transformation in people's lives and the communities that they live in.

Debbie Shearing

Debbie has lived in Sidcup for nearly 6 years and has spent the last few years working with vulnerable and homeless women in different support projects in London. She has recently given up her job to serve full time for the church and is loving the adventure of stepping out in faith. On the oversight team Debbie oversees Prayer, Social Action and Women's Events. Debbie loves being part of a team who are committed to building Church together and really believes that Church can impact and transform society. Debbie is single and passionate about helping other single people find their identity and value in God. Debbie loves friends, running, dance music, organising things, driving minibusses and cleaning!
