Paul Weston – Church Leader, Oversight Team, Vision, Hope Community School
Paul is the leader of New Generation Church. He serves on the leadership team of Pioneer network of churches and the leadership for Spring Harvest. Paul’s passion is for the local church to shine! This passion saw him launch ‘Lark in the Park’ in 1996 which is now Sidcup’s main summer event, attracting around 1,500 people every day. He is also the visionary behind Hope Community School, Bexley’s first free school which opened in September 2013. Matt Green – Oversight Team, Church Life, Community Groups
Matt is from the Isle of Wight and is married to Anna who is from New Zealand, so Matt describes them both as being from overseas! They have 2 young boys. Matt used to work with homeless young people in a hostel and teach squash which he still loves playing. It wasn’t until he started working for a UK mission organisation called Miracle Street that he and Anna met the gang here at New Gen. They were instantly attracted by the church and the way in which the whole congregation was mobilised to serve and make a difference in the community. In the end just being here for a two week summer mission wasn’t enough so they decided to pack up, move here and become fully fledged mainlanders.
Paula Weston – Leadership Team, Sparkles
Paula is a local girl and loves living near London. She’s had lots of creative jobs and loves a challenge.
